Confidentiality & File Policy

Customer CAD, photographs, drawings, and production parameters are private working files. They are not public catalog content, and portfolio use requires separate permission.

This working draft is provided for launch preparation and is not a statement that counsel has reviewed it. Professional legal review and owner approval are required before production launch.

Before you upload

Submit only files you are authorized to share and manufacture. Remove unnecessary personal, export-controlled, classified, health, or other highly sensitive information. If the project requires an NDA, request and complete it before sending the confidential detail; an NDA is available for review but is not automatic.

Private storage and access

Customer uploads are stored separately from public marketing media. Private files do not receive predictable public URLs and are retrieved through an authenticated, record-checked route or an appropriately restricted storage provider. Files are not attached to routine manager notification emails.

Access is limited to personnel and providers who need the material to quote, design, manufacture, inspect, support, or secure the project. Reasonable backups may exist for recovery.

Ownership and production use

Uploading a file does not transfer the customer's ownership. The customer grants the limited permission needed to review, modify when authorized, manufacture, inspect, and fulfill the project. CAD work created by ForgeMade 3D is governed by the quote and any written IP or source-file terms.

Photography and portfolio use

Customer parts, files, company identity, and project details are not published, sold, or used as a case study without permission. Internal process or QC photos may be retained with the production record. A confidentiality status on a future case study must be reviewed before publication.

Retention, repeat orders, and deletion

Source files, approved production revisions, QC instructions, and photos may be retained to support a quoted project and authorized reorders. The owner must approve the standard retention periods before launch. A customer can request deletion, subject to identity verification and records that must be preserved for legal, payment, safety, or dispute reasons.

Deleting the only approved production file may disable reorder and make recreation billable. We will explain that consequence when processing the request.
