How a project can move through the workflow

Each example is intentionally generic and clearly labeled. It describes a process, not completed work or customer evidence.

Capability example01

Discontinued plastic cover

Problem: A cover or guard is no longer available from the original source.
What may be provided: A damaged sample, photos, dimensions, or an existing reference file.
Potential approach: Inspect interfaces, create CAD, produce a fit test, revise if needed, then quote the approved part or quantity.
Evidence required: A real published study would require permission, verified material and quantity, measured result, actual timing, and approved photographs.

Capability example02

Prototype electronics enclosure

Problem: A product team needs a physical housing to verify board access, connectors, fasteners, and assembly.
What may be provided: CAD, board geometry, interface dimensions, or a sketch with the critical constraints.
Potential approach: Review the design, produce a prototype, collect fit feedback, and release the next controlled revision.
Evidence required: No claim is made here about a completed customer, lead time, product performance, or production outcome.

Capability example03

Repeatable fixture run

Problem: An operations team needs multiple identical guides, spacers, or assembly aids with a path to reorder.
What may be provided: An approved file or sample, target quantity, use conditions, and inspection requirements.
Potential approach: Review the production revision, approve a first article when appropriate, complete the run, and retain the part-code relationship for re-quoting.
Evidence required: Capacity, quantity, material, timing, result, and reorder terms would be stated only from verified project records.

The record should be specific enough to be useful and permissioned enough to respect customer confidentiality.
